Lake Effect Online is a secured, internet software package that makes it easy for any photographer to upload images to the web for clients to proof and purchase photos from their event. The software allows the photographer to have total control of their images, pricing, and all orders. Photographers use the software to select the images from their computer and transfer them to their website for online-proofing and sales.

We will host your high resolution images for you, collect your retail payments, and fulfill your orders to your customers*, all without your involvement! You upload your event for instant exposure and then send us your high resolution images on CD, DVD, USB Flash Drive, or for smaller events via ftp upload for quicker turn-around time. We can even accept hot-swappable hard drives for large events!

How does it work?

Lake Effect Digital Imaging offers two levels of online service. One is a full-service online solution, called Laked Effect Online Solution (Lake Effect OS). It offers the full e-commerce solution, including collecting orders and payment, and shipping your orders for you.

Lake Effect Lite includes our online hosting services, but does not include our e-ecommerce solutions. Lite customers are responsible for collecting orders and payments. Remember that we can still drop ship your orders to your customers, but you will be responsible for collecting and fulfilling those orders. Both ROES and OrderManager are avaiable to assist you in completing your orders.

Both solutions are designed to do one thing: Give you an e-commerce solution that increases your exposure, increases your sales, and increases your income.

We do this by providing you with an online site that is custom tailored to your needs. We allow you to use your pricing structure, set up custom events, and even password protect your events.
