Pearlescent Paper by Mitsubishi Grace. This new paper is archival and mimics the look of the Kodak Metallic or Fuji Pearlescent paper with a glossy surface, colors that “pop” and a silvery iridescent look.

The good news is that, using this new paper, we are able to offer new, larger sizes of metallic prints.

We are very pleased to be one of the first labs in the US to be offering this paper surface which was just released to the trade late March. The Pearlescent prints can be found under the Metallic tab within ROES.

Press Printed Books

Lake Effect Digital Imaging is proud to be offering a new, affordable way to offer your customers high-quality coffee-table-style books.

Our press print books have their pages and covers printed on a digital press, and then bound together. The pages are 100% printed surface, as opposed to traditional proof books, which have photographs adhered to, or inserted in, pre-designed pages. This new style of book allows you to get the premium look of a coffee table book at a fraction of the cost.

We offer three book collections, each with its own strengths. Between the three, there's a book that will suit every need.

Keepsake Collection

The Keepsake Collection is our entry-level book. Its pages are bound in a traditional book method, giving them the look of a traditional proof book. They are adaptable to almost any event, and can hold a staggering 250 pages.

The Keepsake Collection is also available in proof book format, which as all the same features as the book, but with a white or black matte background to showcase your photos.

Occasions Collection

The Occasions Collection is a premium quality book in a small size. The pages of this book are 4 times as thick as ordinary photo books, and are printed as spreads, with zero black between pages. Every book includes heirloom packaging, so there's no need to repackage.
